Really orange amber color with a big creamy foam in the Ommegang chalice. Fruity and friendly with a refreshing acidity. Inviting aroma of tangerine, a touch of papaya, grilled peach. Just enough sweetness, but tangy overall.
This is so orange juice tasting, but truly drinkable with the reassuring bite of orange peel. Moderate bitterness, but I can feel the heat on my lips. Mineral aftertaste but very light astringency. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the Ocean Beach tasting room. Here's another oddball brewery you should check out.
