September 20th, 2016 - The best of the brews enjoyed today at Kilowatt is their Bird on a Wire. It looks akin to Guinness, with a good malty aroma, and a semi-sweet bitterness. The flavor is pretty close to an Irish stout, with that distinctive soft foam, and the gentle oatmeal stout sweetness. But the waft of smoke confirms its identity as a Porter. Overall, a good, pleasant and very drinkable porter.
