October 2nd, 2016 - Coming to the end of our line of tasters here at Pacific Islander is the DIPA. The aroma is oddly tangy, and has a slight smell of shampoo, which I don't find offensive, though it is a bit out of place. The palate is quite thick, even for the style, with a combination of nutty, bread and biscuit notes. The hop profile is otherwise generic, leaving the unusual mouthfeel to define this beer on the tongue.
