October 2nd, 2016 - More an auburn than red in color, this beer contrasts with the equatorial theming with the smell of fresh fall leave, newly fallen with just a bit of humidity settling in. The flavor is also full of character, with a well balanced malt paired with brown sugar, and some good restraint on that sweeter side. If I parse it out, the sugars also reveal some guava and tropical fruit, but that could just be environmental biasing.
