Served in a can shaped glass at The Blue Hound Taproom, Outerweiss is an attractive orange color made opaque from the suspended yeast. Thick one finger head seems to last for the whole serving.
Smell is banana like sweetness with some yeast spices and a bit of grainy malts. Touch of pepper. Flavor-wise this leans towards sweeter in terms of hefeweizens. Nice banana and malt notes, touch of yeast spice at the end with hints of clove. Wet finish and a smaller amount of carbonation. Bit heavier in the stomach than expected but overall I really enjoyed this one.

Thick and hazy dark orange brew, firm foamy head, good retention.
Thick and creamy malty aroma, with banana notes starting to emerge.
Flavor is thick with banana; coupled with the creamy body, it's like a banana smoothie. A bit of graininess to the malt, and a light touch of citrus.
This is very tasty, but it's very thick. Not quite a summer thirst quencher, but a tasty beer nonetheless.
