Bridge Street Pale Ale embraces its modest roots. This Shoreline Series addition uses English malts light in color but providing a full-flavored bready backbone. A single hop, Falconer's Flight 7C's, adds tasty stone fruit and citrus flavors layered with an earthy, floral spice. We finish it off with our house yeast to produce a high quality pale ale that strives to be exactly what it is - a beer for people who like beer. No flash, just flavor. We hope to see you coming back to Bridge Street again and again.

Cloudy dark orange brew, topped by a nice off white head.
Juicy aroma: both citrus and tropical. Not quite as strong an aroma as an IPA, but clearly hop forward. Slight floral notes. Really lovely.
Flavor translates well on the palate. Bready, almost spicy malt backbone, with just a hint of caramel. Grainy finish. The hops are well presented, mostly as grapefruit pulp, lemon, grass, a very slight dankness, and a quite bitter finish. Aftertaste leaves me smacking my gums, with a lasting impression of grapefruit peel.
Very nice feel: lively and active, with plenty of heft. Medium overall; semi dry finish; cloying hop oils.
I think OLBC hits their stride in pale ale territory. This and Lonesome Boatman are both excellent examples of the style, bringing tons of balanced flavor at a modest ABV without sacrificing mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a translucent golden color with virtually no head. A tiny bit of lacing. The aroma is melon with some citrus as well. Light bready notes. The taste is pretty fruity. Melon, berries and citrus hops. Subtle floral hops throughout. Bread crust and toasted bread. Floral and citrus peel finish. Very drinkable. Lightly carbonated with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Overall, pretty solid Pale Ale that's right up there with Trail Magic in terms of drinkability.
