Dark copper brew; nice cream colored head with good retention.
Lovely, sweet aroma, laced with grapefruit, pineapple, and a touch of dank herbs. Toasty malts.
Fairly straightforward on the palate: caramel and pale grains; bready; dank and slightly sweet. The hops add a freshness without taking over the brew's character completely. Hops are strongest up front, while malts carry it home.
Lively and smooth.

32oz growler. Pours a translucent copper color with very little head. Good amount of lacing. The aroma is bready malts with some melon and light citrus. The taste is much like the aroma. Bready malts at first followed up by the melon flavor. Light floral notes as well as citrus peel towards the finish. Lightly butter but with lots of malt flavor. Medium bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Overall, decent Pale Ale.
