Stealing Sunsets Weizenbock

A: cloudy; light brown in color; 1 finger tan head that receded slowly to a very thin cap; nice lacing;

S: clove; dark fruit in the background;

T: sweet, caramelly malt for a moment, then clove; by the middle, banana moves in, then becomes predominant; finish is mildly bitter with a nice balance of clove, banana, and milk chocolate;

M: medium bodied; moderate, creamy carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: complex flavors; very nicely done;

 

Pours a muddy murky brown. Smells of banana, camomile, jasmine, with a bit of burnt sugar. Oddly sweet smelling honestly, but it works. Banana follows on the palate with a bit of musk following. Sweet, a bit tat, like orange or yuzu.
