Very murky brown appearance, like bog water.
Aroma dances just out of reach, subtle and inviting. Toast and caramel; fresh pine, lemon, and orange; wild flowers.
Flavor follows: bright classic American hops on top of a toasty malt backbone. Very restrained bitterness; the hops are nearly delicate. A very nice, easy drinking presentation. Lingering, oily finish, touching on lemons, green pine, and orange peel.
Served on cask prior to general release.
