Usually not a fan of beers with "stuff" even coffe and/or chocolate. But this one is very good.
Deep nice color
Delicious smell, hints of the flavorings
Taste is very smooth and nice. Definitely more coffee comes through than cacao
Nice!

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This one smells like boozy bourbon, acidic coffee, vanilla, and chocolate.
This one unfortunately doesn't work super well for me. It feels inartfully made, with big barrel, but not much coffee, other than a roasty acidity. It's harsh, and thinly flavored - I don't get the higher ratings here, honestly.
This is lighter bodied, and pretty thin. It's not incredibly drinkable.
This needs some major retooling. It's not horrible, but it's not something I really want again.

On tap at 2 Bros. Pours a pitch black color with no head. The aroma is tons of coffee with some chocolate, espresso and roasted malts. Not getting much of the barrel. The taste is dark chocolate and coffee. Almost tastes like chocolate covered espresso beans. The Bourbon comes out towards the end but it's not overpowering, more in the background. The coffee, espresso, and dark chocolate are the main focus here. Woody finish. Lightly carbonated with a lighter than expected mouthfeel. Overall, a damn good BA beer that has more coffee flavor than Bourbon.

Good looking brew: pitch black with a very small head (not unsurprising for the style).
The nose and palate are pretty similar: tons and tons of chocolate, some coffee, and a lovely, balanced bourbon influence. Pleasantly warming on the back-end.
This may be a brief review, but make no mistake: this is a dynamite beer! In terms of flavor, it reminded me very much of BCBCS, and while it's not quite on that level, it's more than just an also-ran. The 9.5% ABV format is very surprising, given how much flavor they pack into this brew. Outstanding!
