Pours gold with a little haziness. Good head with 3D lacing.
The smell is floral with a strong pale malt. There’s moderate alcohol to the nose.
The taste is more earthy and then peppery bitter. There’s a touch of tropical fruits. Full bodied with ample carbonation. Despite the bitterness, the aftertaste is only moderate.

Opaque, yellow/orange beer; fine, frothy head that lingers. Subtle smell with mosaic up front; this is not a hop bomb or a juice bomb; the pilsner malt is apparent. This beer tastes like it smells. It's subtle. Nothing takes over, it all works well together, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. The mouth feel is light (for a DIPA) and the yeast, malt and hops linger pleasantly on the back of the tongue. Overall the blend of ingredients in this beer works well. This beer was drunk within a week of the canning date.

On tap at The Social. Pours a semi translucent burnt orange color with no head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity with a good deal of tropical fruits and melon. The taste is boozey with pineapple, tangerine, mango and guava. Melon more towards the end with some over ripened tropical fruits. Medium body with low carbonation. Tastes about as boozey as the ABV indicates. Solid Imperial IPA.
