Surprisingly dark body: coppery golden. Also shockingly clear for a NE IPA, especially one with fruit added. Good head production, retention, and lacing.
Very pleasant nose, fruity and floral, along with biscuit and caramel from the malt base.
Light to moderate bitterness; watery and light. The fruit and hibiscus combine to give an earthy, almost dirty yet sweet and tannic finish. It's not bad, but it's not quite my jam. The light body is certainly on purpose, keeping with the low ABV, but that's also not my preference.
