A simple and tasty blonde ale, not overly refined, nice fruity notes but to me more from hops than any added citrus, not sure how its made, but it hits hoppy to me, pleasant and drinkable, soft feeling, not thin at all, a little rugged but in a good way, and slightly yeasty too, also in a good way, a little more to this than is commonly found in basic blonde types, and im into that. a little cloudy, frothy white head with great retention, prickly carbonation, creamy. some breadiness to the flavor, dry, possible there is irish ale yeast in it, which is where all this character is coming from, distinctive there for sure, on purpose. the hops hint at orange zest, drying lawn clippings, and meyer lemon, and definitely some drying bitterness on the swallow, it rushes back a little bready and biscuity and fuller, but the hops are significant, in aroma and flavor, and it makes this drink a little bit more substantial in a way thats uncommon. some minerals in the mix, a faint wheaty thing to the grain to me, a little more to it than a lot of these blonde types have, good carbonation, fresh tasting. subtly distinctive, a style bender even, cool beer.
