a cool sour here, looks like a series, brunch cocktails, this one a peach bellini, and its neat on a number of levels. the first being that its not very sour, no more acidic than champagne, which makes that theme really hit in this, tangy without limiting drinkability in any way, and actually just cutting through the peach nectar sweetness just enough to keep this kind of light. the sourness is also real clean, nothing cheap or too hot or cheesy or anything, its tight citrusy lactic twang that works really well. the base beer has a little body, wheaty it seems, but its also smooth and nicely carbonated, simple in a good way. the peach element is strong in aroma and in flavor, certainly on the sweet side, natural and well incorporated, sweet enough, not diabetic, and very juicy, again lending well to the cocktail theme. its actually on the dry side later on to my surprise and delight, i like the low alcohol in this too, and it hits slightly vinous, tidy, and flavorful, seems seasonally perfect for easter weekend. my favorite of the sour beers ive had from outer light so far...
