From a can this pours with incredible clarity and a nice foamy cap. Sharp noble hop note on the nose. Clean and crisp sip. Altogether excellent, as I expected.

Light yellow, small head. Nose a bit of grain with the floral notes. Taste is great, right amount of hop and biscuit, balanced. Light and crushable.

On-draught @ Live Oak.

Soft yet crisp and bready, bringing a clean helles malt flavour and a full body yet ample approachability. Drinks clean and easy, refreshing yet filling. Hop character is a bit spicy, fairly grassy, and hardly noticeable.

About as balanced as they come, lacking any syrupy sweet characteristics or watery thinness...this walks the tightrope of helles lager balance expertly. Ludicrously drinkable (especially in Texan summer heat).

As fine a helles lager as one will find stateside, though one inclined to pick nits can imagine better depth of flavour.
