Marynka and Sybilla hops and Moravian pilsner malt make up this simple and delicious golden Polish lager. A cute little pils, a Piwko Pils. Taste the wonder of Polish hops!

Yet another 1st tier impressive beer from Live Oak. When I talk about greatest breweries, Sierra Nevada, Live Oak, its like them two every time, right off the top of my head.
Pours a light straw yellow bordering into light gold territory. Big virgin white 7/8" white head on top. Amazing clarity. Aroma goes hard on the pilsner malt first. All that golden waves of grain imagery even though its a Polish pilsner. The hops are unique in name, but providing standard Saaz like inputs of lemongrass. The hop nose is way in the back though. Nothing yeast wise jumping lager style.
Taste brings a slight yeast out, this Moravian pilsner malt still popping. Light lemongrass and grapefruit hop taste. Normally grodskie hops, Tomyski and Izabella does well here "when you say nothing at all," kind of vibes. Doesn't dominate, one of those best supporting cast roles. They say lime input, but I got a hit more of grapefruit from it. Bitter angle right where it should be in the 35ibu realm I would guess. Another 1st tier pilsner from Live Oak.

On-draught @ the brewery.
Frothy in a dimpled mug.
Crisp and clean drinking, leaning heavy into pilsner malt without much hop aplomb. Sharply carbonated yet soft on the palate.
Highly drinkable fare, but I don't know that it's up there with their German and Czech pilsners.

Sidepull tap at the brewery.
Think layer of dense foam with great retention.

12oz canned 2-28-23, opened 8-6-23.
2 finger white head with amazing retention.
Golden body with very good clarity. Thick early lacing.
Herbal and grassy nose with a hint of sulfur/clay.
Hop forward with spicy, herbal and grassy hops flavor galore.
LIght bodied, crisp mouthfeel and a punch of spicy bitterness. Dry finish.
Very Good.

On tap at the brewery. Delicious, easy drinking pils. Not sure what makes it polish, but I like it.
