Another selection from a trip to the source. Its like, right across from the airport. Hot June day, met up with a bunch of family, threw some disc, got beat by one stroke.
Pours a light yellow color, but not the best head retention. The aroma hit some good yeast sulphur like German notes. Neat new noble hops, still smells the part. Upgrade from the appearance there Dr. Funkenstein.
The taste is another good tasting lager from Live Oak. You get the slightly but not all that different proprietary (I believe) noble hops ( Aurum, Tradition, Tango, and Amira if you're keeping score at home) in a export level formation. Bitter florals. Nice grain presence, hit that two row again dealer. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel well placed for a 100 degree day. Imminently crushable. Some grassy sensations alongside the floral ones.
Its what an export lager typically is, just slightly done better than your average one. One step up.

12oz canned 4-11-23. Opened 8-13-23.
2 finger white sudsy head with good retention. Early clingy lacing.
Pale golden body with excellent clarity.
Clay, sulfur, and grain with spicy and lightly grassy, herbal hops - smells great.
Very Good.
