Our hoppy holiday ale is brewed just for you… Krampus Punishment Ale is cold-fermented and hopped with Cascade, Crystal, Centennial, and Citra hops. Munich and Red malt provide the malt flavor that balances the bitterness. It's that time of year when you receive the punishment you deserve.

Amber pour, little haze, pancake of off- white foam. Nose is citrus and toast. Taste shares carmel, hearty bread, citrus, some pine cones, medium kilned malt. Finish is resiny hops with some length, oily mouthfeel.
Very nice winter ale, I see homage to Celebration Ale.

12 fl oz can purchased yesterday at the brewery:
6.7% ABV. "Red IPA."
Hints of toast. Amber malt. Slightly bready. Hop profile is muted at best, but all I really get is generic floral hop character, some resin, and faint grapefruit-redolent bitter citrusy flavour.
Balanced but underwhelming. Not up there with the Nugget Nectars of the world.
