Live Oak Lyghte is a hoppy light lager made entirely with wheat malt. This provides the body to support the firm hopping of our heirloom polish hop varieties while remaining light and drinkable. We're not reinventing the wheel but we are reinventing light beer.

Note: A few hours after the below review, I heard the owner and brew master mention that there will be more malt flavor and body in the next Lyte which will be ready in about a month. I look forward to it. Served in a pint glass at the brewery.
L clear straw yellow with 1 inch of white foam with average retention.
S Smell medium in strength. There's a cracker smell, somewhat spicy hops, and some yeastIt's a overall clean smell.
T Medium in strength. There's more of a complex flavor and it has the taste of a low alcohol beer or table beer, which is expected with a 3.2 ABV. The finish is a bit below medium in bitterness.
F Medium in thickness. It's quite creamy, carbonation is medium, astringency is low.
O It's okay if you like low alcohol beers. Typically,I do not, but I can tell this is well made.
