Bottle at share. Normal looking pour, golden body, white head, Aroma is heavy on the jalapenoss. Taste smooths out a bit, not as peppery as the aroma.

12oz can. Date stamp on can bottom is '07/28/2023'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Brief off white head. No lacing.
Aroma is faint, but the jalapeno chile does fill the nostrils.
Taste has a base of toasted malts, but the main flavor is the jalapeno chile. There is a balance between the sweet malt and the spicy chile. Aftertaste gets a swell from the chile.
Medium mouth feel. Slight burn on the tongue and mouth. Okay carbonation.
The jalapeno expresses more in the burn than as a full green chile flavor, which results in a thinner flavor profile.

Picked this up when I was out in Lincoln, Nebraska not too long ago as I never had anything from Kinkaider before. Not the biggest fan of this style but when done right, it's a welcome change from what I'm accustomed to and indeed, this was nicely brewed and easily enjoyable from start to finish!

This had a nice, copper hue to it with a full, but uneven, head that nicely topped it off but settled quickly and in a wavy manner. No lacing was left behind as there weren't any suds leftover on the glass either. A nice amount of carbonation could be seen and felt, which offset the jalapeno and bell pepper notes that were both present on the nose and in the taste. Spicy nacho cheese, a hint of chocolate, and corn tortilla sweetness rounded out the taste as this would have paired nicely with any Mexican dish, or a queso that would have been consumed during yesterday's game! A fair amount of body and lingering heat easily left me wanting more, as I was glad to have another can on hand.

The ABV% listed on the can was 5.0 and not the 4.7% listed here but regardless of that difference, I couldn't taste or feel it as this was an ideal session beer. Canned on 9/8, this looked and felt fresh as it was nicely invigorating and subtly inviting. Glad to give this a go as it was a nice warm-up in more ways than one!

After several months of enjoying these, I was surprised to see that I hadn’t written a review. For me, this may be the perfect beer. It encompasses what I like about beer and spicy foods. I get wonderful feeling just smelling it right after opening the bottle. It tastes great from start to finish; no annoying flavor shift for the last swallow. The bite of the jalepeños doesn’t hit the moment the beer touches your tongue, but as you swallow. Each burp afterward brings up a pleasant reminder of the deliciousness. You can guzzle it or take your time with it. 2017/03/30

A: Amber-coloured pour, topped with a head that is somewhere between fizzy and creamy. It's a bit of an odd contradiction, though if you saw it, you would get it.

S: The pungency of jalapenos stands out, providing a nice aroma (at least for those who enjoy such peppers)--little else is present on the nose, but I don't think that this is the intention. The flavour follows suit, though a hint of maltiness adds a little more complexity than just being 'pepper juice.'

M + O: Medium bodied, and the carbonation provides a reminder that this is a beer. This is an interesting, tasty, and well-crafted brew which makes drinking jalapenos a very pleasant experience. It has just enough bite to be interesting and a full flavour for pepper fans.
