Saw this at a gas station in Nebraska while passing though and had to try something new.

This reminds me of some of the lesser quality beers back before the craft boom hit....thinking mid to late 90's...has a certain old school home brew quality to it.

Slightly sour, muddled, just a touch of honey sweetness. Not much to compliment but it's drinkable by my standards at least.

I brought back a sixer from my trip to Nebraska visiting my son in the Air Force. This is the first offering from that pack - a decent honey ale - not too strong and enough of a hint to taste. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some light wheat. Taste is wheat, a bit of lemons, no honey to speak of. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's on the bland side, a mediocre beer.

a tasty and really easy drinking wheat based brew. the malt is nice in it, not overly dumbed down or anything, retaining a lot of its natural flavor and texture, this has some decent body for such a drinkable brew. its pale and hazy on the pour, a little orange tinted, but not much head. i wished it were more carbonated, that was a real drag for me, it felt flat when it should have been explosive with bubbles. the honey is light in this, and the beer is quite dry, i figure most of the honey flavor must have been fermented out, just a very light floral nature remains, hardly even a lick of sweetness from it, i would have like to see a little more of the honey come through the in the flavor. the beer is good though, simple but well made, and more of a six pack dose than a single bottle. it had enough flavor to hold up to a big grilled pork chop, so it worked in that context too. probably the least exciting of the beers i had from kinkaider this weekend, but still pretty serviceable as they go. more bubbles and more honey and this would be great.

Honey orange with 60% transparency, small bubbly head.

Aromas are really faint and nothing stands out except mineral, grain, and dust.

Flavor...nope. just abysmal again. Nothing here. Aftertaste finally brings some fresh baked wheat thins but overall...ugh.

Feel, is ok. Effervescent and mildly creamy.

Kinkaider sucks. Can't they do anything right?

Beer review #975. Bought a single bottle the other day as part as "Make your own 6" from the local Hy-Vee and sampled it tonight on 7/31/16. First one to do a review on it as well. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a ""Fallen Angle Sweet Stout" (Empyrean-Lincoln, Nebraska) pint glass. A good amount of sediment was found at the bottom of the bottle after the pour as well as the bottom of the pint glass after drinking.

Brew pours a hazy golden-yellow in color with a good 1-finger foamy white head. A decent amount of lacing was seen with each sip that stuck to the sides of the glass. Aroma is of wheat with a touch of honey as would be expected. Taste follows the nose. Very easy to drink and goes down easy. No bitterness was noted for the finish. Medium-bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall a tasty new brew.
