Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has an orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, some pine. Taste is orange peels, malts, light pine is present, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is decent, but nothing special.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, orange-amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, citrus and piney notes. Very malty with a mild bitterness.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled on" date 5-27-16.
APPEARANCE: pours a hazy, dark copper color with larger bits suspended about, lighter carbonation, significant lacing on the glass.
SMELL: bread, sweet brown sugar, flowery with tropical fruits like pineapple and grapefruit, very pleasant to the nose.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet, bready, then pineapple and grapefruit.
PALATE: medium body and lighter carbonation.
OVERALL: this is an outstanding beer....made in Broken Bow? I don't care where it's from this is good beer! For an IPA this is very balanced, I enjoyed this and would buy again no problem, I'll recommend this to my friends.

Kinkaider's Frame The Butcher IPA pours a soft golden glow with hints of white raisin. The head is nothing short of exceptional with a tall, fluffy 4 finger head with pillows and tufts of lace.
Citrus squirts, grapefruit, orange rind, and pine all waft up to the olfactory with a medium to strong volume. Smelling good so far and outlook is pretty good.
And...it's like drinking a turd. Soft malty base is nice on the palate but at the expense of wimping out the entire profile. Watery pine and orange rinds can be tasted, finishing on a slightly woody golden raisin flavor. The whole profile overall just feels soggy and poorly executed. It's not terrible, it's just not good.
Feel kind of ties in with the flavor here, just watery and uninspired, very saggy is all I can keep saying.
Overall, I think I may have written off Kinkaider as a reputable brewer. Everything I've tried from them has been poor, and I passed up this as a single probably a dozen times before I finally decided to throw it in a sixer. It was still a bad decision. No more, Kinkaider. No more.

Popped and poured. Nice med light golden color with a slight off white/ white head that stood until my mustache interfered. Nose of earthy, slightly piney, with a touch of citrusy hops. Mouth feel is awesome with this IPA. Slightly creamy to me with a hop bitterness that is high on the pallet- no hop burn what so ever. I believe this beer to be hop bursted as the bitterness is assertive and flavorful but doesn't terrorize the taste buds between sips. Malt character balances well and has a slight caramel sweetness that I consider to be medium dry. Overall a very enjoyable beer.
