Draft at Red Raven
Medium foamy head with good retention and lacing, hazy reddish amber color
Nose sweet grainy malt, very toasty, biscuity, caramel, toffee, spicy fruity rye, earthy spicy hops
Taste sweet malt, very toasty caramel malt, little biscuity toffee, candy malt, some fruity rye not too spicy, med bitterness up front with spicy earthy hops, good bitter sweet balance, mild dry finish but med high spicy hop bitterness, little spicy rye
Mouth is med bod, med foamy carb
Overall not bad but a bit heavy sweet like, rye was ok and hops were ok but not very modernized
