A- Pours a very nice heavily dark brown color with a full two finger thick head that itself is light tan in color.....the head doesn't take a lot of time to dissipate, however, as it approaches the liquid it slows and becomes very creamy in texture, before settling into a thick film that is somewhat patchy. There are just a couple of lumbering columns of smooth looking carbonation breaking at the top of the brew, and the lacing appears to be generally thick and clingy to the inside of my glass....overall a very nice looking Milk Stout!
S- This has delicious aromas of semi sweet dark chocolate, mocha latte, fresh black French Press, charred black and chocolate malts, Earthy woodsy aromas, burnt almond/toffee/caramel, and as it warms and smooths out a bit, I get the sweet cream, dry biscuit and yeasty smells that the style is built on. Very delicately rich on the nostrils!
T- Oh wow! Now this is what I like when it comes to this style! Nice vanilla creme sweetness, along with milky/dark chocolate, a certain almond nuttiness, however muted, perfectly creamed coffee, cocoa powder, cooked down dark toffee/blackstrap molasses, a biscuit like dryness, and well balanced bittering charred dark barley malt and Earthy hop leaf astringency......just an overall superbly flavored Milk Stout!
M/O- This is reasonably smooth drinking Stout, with a medium-full body and the carbonation is generally small and velvety, but it could be just a tick less.....would love to try this as a Nitro! Very approachable and this would make an excellent pairing with a good hearty beef or lamb dish....I am enjoying this on its own and it is quite nice as a dessert or just something to have when one wants a real flavorful, well balanced between sweet and bitter Stout! I hope to have this one day again!

Unknown vintage; drank 10/4/16 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice, noisy tan head; decent lace.
Burnt caramel, creamed coffee & fresh earth notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Sweet cream & fresh earth flavors up front; mild burnt caramel flavors on the finish.
Pretty mild, but not bad.

Nitro taster snifter, very dark brown, nice beige head and extensive lacing. Light malt nose, chocolate. Taste very well balanced with roasty malt, chocolate, and lactose sweetness with exceptional mouthfeel.

Tap
Pours jet black, light tan ring for a head.
Smells of cocoa, mesquite, vanilla and brown sugar over biscuit.
Flavor is of chocolate syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, mesquite, biscuit and toast.
Light to medium body, tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Pretty good milk stout, nice body and flavor at a reasonable abv. Lots to like. I would drink this semi-regularly.

Really in the smell and pour. Jet black with brown lacing. Smell has slight vanilla, strong roasted malt, dark chocolate and slight tin. Taste is way too metallic and yeasty in proportion to other nice flavors. A little watery in the feel with sneaky amount of yeast
