Barely a head generated above the murky yellow beer but enough to line the inner circumference of the glass and lace a bit. The color is sus but in a daring sort of way.

Big tropical fruit plate aroma - think Maui Sheraton breakfast buffet.

Taste follows the appearance if that is possible - bitter but not traditional

The watery look of the surface deceives. Full bodied with a coolness that dances in the finish.

Interesting and worth a try if you are into the style.

Aroma is amazing, but the taste had this onion-y/chive thing going on that I've experienced with another beer (Hopbutcher Tavern Cut) and I cannot stand that taste.

Thanks again Matt!

The crack of the fun, oversized cap reveals an explosion of mango and pineapple. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's talk about looks. The body looks creamy with a thick opaque solid yellow, like pineapple juice blended with plain yogurt. The tiny bubbles of foam above is frothy, leaving thin sheets of lace after each sip.

Back to the nose. The initial fruit bomb has dissipated leaving touches of passion fruit, lime, pine and rubber. Like a rubber band, not tire rubber.

Flavor follows with an initial swirl of tropical fruits that are quickly overcome by cactus fruit, evergreen sap, and again with a burnt rubber finish. This may be just me, but it's a flavor I typically get with Chinook among other hops, and it's a flavor I've come to really enjoy.

Interesting feel on this one as it is creamy bodied but has a sharp and tingly carbonation that cuts through the heft with ease. Not a Notion of the alcohol, and almost perfectly balanced with a favoring edge towards bitterness. There is even a mild tartness that works well with the blend of it all.

I've liked all of these Noon Whistle offerings I've been fortunate enough to try. This one seems to get better the more I sip on it, but oddly enough flip flopped flavor besting scent over the duration.

I'm a fan of the Gummy beers, but this one wasn't the strongest. Slight watery feel, and appearance. Still miles better than a lot of NEIPAs in the area, but if this was a Beatles album it'd be Magical Mystery Tour.

Hazy yellow orange pour with a white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, pine, and bready yeast. Taste is grapefruit juice, grass, yeast, and some faint mango. Medium body with fairly high carbonation.

A: Pours a murky dishwatery yellow. A finger and a half of white foam
S: Primarily citrus
T: Some Grapefruit rind, tangerine and canned pineapple.
MF: A bit of a watery quality,
O: It is an OK NEIPA, It tastes of several different elements that never quite come together.

Cloudy, dirty, particulate rich, tannish orange, light lacing. Dank citrusy hoppy smell. Taste and feeling are very subtle-hoppy, juicy, mildly bitter, subtle alcohol presence, smooth and easily drinkable with a lot of flavor and balance. Very good.

Pours a murky and quite hazy bright sunshine yellow with an orangey hue.

Bright grapefruit and other citrus fruit aromas, with a good amount of tropical fruit notes, mainly pineapple.

Grapefruit and lemon-pith, and pineapple.

medium-bodied, low carbonation, soft, very easy drinking.

Overall, at 7.5% this goes down a little too easy!

Bought a 4 pack that had been canned a week ago. Look was orange and hazy as you would expect with a NEIPA. The smell was very tropical, lots of grapefruit. The taste was lots of citrus and grapefruit up front and no bitter finish. The mouth feel was a little thin but nothing to complain about. Overall I really liked this beer, it's very tropical and citrusy.

great haze and great juice. The only reason it got a little lower score is because of what I felt was a bitter type of grapefruit after taste I didn't like very much.

Pours pale and thin, smells weak, kind of burnt, and tastes even worse. Cool can and everything and I've tried each can in the 4-pack in a different setting just to make sure my taste buds weren't impacted by any extenuating circumstances. This was a drain pour each time. Worst was after drinking G Double O D Good. Wow now that's an awesome Chicago-land NEIPA! Noon Whistle continues to disappoint.

Received one of these from a friend, had never heard of the beer or brewery oddly, being a few towns over from it. Wow, what a great dipa. Right away you notice the hazy/cloudy texture you'd expect from a new england ipa, but stranger was the lack of head after a pour. Not sure if that's reflective of the beer itself or the can design, being an older style can with a removable top.

Took a sip, noticed right away the grapefruit taste. Was very surprised to read here afterwards that there is no grapefruit juice added, never had a beer with such a dominate grapefruit taste just from hops. Despite that, its very well balanced and not overpowering like I've experienced with other beers like ballast point's.

Feel was unexpectedly light given the taste profile, used to a thicker mouthfeel from a dipa. Smelled incredible. This is definitely one of the better DIPAs I've had in a good while. Cheers

This beer is what I hope for every time I open a beer. I'm not going to be specific on exact smell or taste, but it's my first Noon Whistle and after 1 can, it blows every beer I've every tried out of the water. It's my favorite beer and I'm going to go to every length to try and stock my fridge with this.

From their most recent release.

Hops: Citra, Simcoe

This was really good. Had an intense fruity flavor that is almost unbelievable that it comes just from hops. I prefer the Squishy Gummy to this one, but still a great beer.

This entry into the gummy ipa series is more spicy in hop character. Classic, hazy look for series, but a little thinner. Hops are more the main flavor instead of hazy fruitiness. Easy drinker however, honestly does down like a single ipa with the hop complexity of a double. Very nice

16oz can dated: drink by 04/26/18 poured into a pint glass shows a limp, cloudy, grapefruit juice look in color and activity, or lack thereof, with no cap, just an edge-hugging ring of white bubbles leaving tiny, spotted lacing. You can't read through it, but the beer appears luminescent when backlit.

Aroma is grapefruit, as expected, with some orange, mango, and peach joining in the mix. A slight tinge of vegetal aroma luckily doesn't make it to the taste buds.

Flavors are bright and juicy. Orange, grapefruit, mango, and peach round out the taste.

Mouthfeel is almost creamy, medium, and a wet finish.

Overall, I like the flavor and feel. If this were a style, I'd say it was a good example. The removable top allows a look to the bottom of the can which has about a teaspoon of thick orange colored sludge.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Drink by date of 9/5/17, had 8/21/17.

Pours a cloudy orange, with a one and a half inch head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, pineapple, mango, some grapefruit, yeast. A little dank. The taste pretty much follows along- orange, pineapple, more grapefruit than the nose, mango, malt. Have had this on tap, and the flavor is not as intense out of the can. Smooth, a good light to medium body, well carbonated.

This is good and has a solid overall flavor, but is definitely better on tap. That said, it’s certainly worth a purchase.

S - Aromas of the musty citrus, light orange, little orange zest.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, candied orange peel, big juicy citrus, nice light malt backbone.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, fluffy, really pleasant.

O - Overall this was a very solid ipa with nice juicy notes.

Pours a hazy banana with a big, creamy, white head. Hard to see carbonation due to head.
An awesome citra hop smell with dank. Melon fruit smell.
Awesome taste! Melon, orange and mangoes. Great bitter citrus hop. Candied citrus that leaves resin. Very little alcohol taste.
A creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Not a heavy beer for the abv.

Can poured into Willi Becher

Orange, copper tint, pretty hazy. Just off white thick and foamy head. Leaves clingy lacing.

Aroma of citrus fruit, zest, and a touch of candy sweetness.

Lots of smooth hop flavors blended with an underlying sweetness. The sweetness is gumballs and candy. Citrus zest and ruby red grapefruit. Hint of bitterness.

Moderate carbonation and medium body, goes down smooth and easy.

Nice flavorful brew with interesting hop flavor combinations.

Look- Thicker orange color with a small white head.
Smell- Strong citrus smell with just a bit of bubble gum.
Taste- Fruity taste with just a bit of malt at the end.
Feel- Thicker feel, but still very easy to drink.

This is the first beer I've had from Noon Whistle and I was impressed. I like that it's New England style but doesn't taste like straight sugar.

"Drink by 10/10/17"; drank 9/2/17 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice white head; frothy lace.

Grapefruit, dry grass & faint soap notes in the nose.

Soft, creamy medium mouthfeel.

Orange citrus & mild cream flavors up front; dry grass notes on the finish.

The mouthfeel is very nice, but the flavor is a bit muted. I could use more citrus, personally, but this is above average.

On tap. Hazy NE style. Not as thick looking as some, but orange and hazy. Tons of citrus hops in the smell. Taste is bitter citrus hops, decent linger. Feel is semi thick, not quite as much as other in the style. Overall an excellent example. I'd chose this again for sure
