16oz can poured into a pint glass displays an effervescent clear dark gold colored body and briefly floats a 1/8in white head with active rising bubbles.
Aroma is malt forward but citrus and berries abound.
Flavors match and add a slight pine.
Mouthfeel has a little bite, but not overly so, mostly smooth and medium, leaning light.
Overall. a nice attempt at the style.
A generous translation of the Australian is a lucky afternoon. One would be lucky to enjoy these on a sunny afternoon.

16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Had 8/1/17.
Pours a mostly clear gold color, with a one and a half inch foamy head with good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. The smell seems all over the place- citrus hops, some spruce, a floral aroma, yeast, a little wet hay, maybe a hint of strawberries. The taste seems likewise- maybe it’s me. Yeast, malt, citrus, a little pine, a little funk, a little dank. A light bitterness up front and at the finish, some sweetness in between. Smooth, fairly refreshing, well carbonated, a good light to medium body.
It’s nice and pretty enjoyable, but Australian tastes American to me. Guess you’re supposed to get lots of berries in the aroma, but I didn’t.

Look is apple juice colored with 1 finger of white head.
Aroma is sweet malts, berries and maybe some citrus lingering.
Taste follows nose. Sweet corn like malt, berries and a slight bitter bite on the backend.
Feel is crisp and slightly dry. Carb is moderate to high.
Overall an interesting beer that would be real nice on a hot beach.

Australian-style Sparkling Ale. Malt forward. Orange rind, grapefruit and earthy malts. Light bodied. Perfectly carbed. Dry, fairly bitter finish. Pretty good.
