750 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 10/21/17.
Pours a bright, light amber, a bit hazy, with no real head and a smattering of lacing. Aromas of gin, apples, light toffee, a little Belgian yeast, light juniper, some malt. The taste is gin, apples, malt, some caramel and juniper, a little Belgian yeast, light oak. Light alcohol, but not much for the ABV. Smooth, a good body, an appropriate but lower amount of carbonation.
Good aroma and flavor, but not very sophisticated for a BSPA. The Koval barrels star. Definitely enjoyable and glad I have another gathering dust.
