750 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 3/30/18.
Pours dark and opaque, thick looking, with no real head and some soapy cling. A light ring of foam follows down the glass. Aromas of agave, tequila, chocolate, cocoa, malt, some molasses and caramel, a little smoke. The taste is more tequila forward, then malt, caramel, molasses, some chocolate, light agave, light alcohol. Very smooth for the ABV, a good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Very enjoyable. The tequila is flavorful and well balanced with the solid base beer. Nice effort from NW.
