750 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 12/31/17.

Pours a dark brown, opaque and oily looking, with no real head and some soapy lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, mint- like you have a mint sprig stuck in your glass, bourbon chocolate, light toffee. The taste pretty much follows along- bourbon, mint, malt, cocoa, oak, light caramel. Light alcohol- more as it warms, but not bad for the ABV. Very smooth for the ABV, a good full body, lightly carbonated.

The mint was terrific, and none of us say that every time we have a mint stout. The mint and bourbon work really well together, and the base beer is solid. Big effort from Noon Whistle.
