250 pounds of Wet Citra Hops came from Perrault Farms in Washington. Within hours of being picked these hops were delivered over night and used to immediately to make this one of a kind Pale Ale.
This Wet Hopped Pale Ale has intense herbal and green flavors that you can only get from ultra fresh hops.

Had this on tap at the Lombard location. This is a pale ale wet hopped with with Citra hops. This was a solid beer that I liked but I was kinda hoping for more from it. I thought the hops would be a bit more agressive and it would be a bit stickier. Still I liked this beer and the Citra did shine through.

I went into this with the experience of wet-hop ales almost exclusively from west coast brewers. Poured from a pint can into a pint glass the day it was released by the brewery (10/8/2020). This pours a hazy straw color, some lacing, minimal head. Smell is terrible, like the dried hops from one of those hop-tasting kits or rabbit food. Up front, the taste is herbal, reminiscent of Cozmo, somewhat piney, but as it flows down the back of the tongue and down the gullet it's a juicy revelation -- more of what I am used to. The aftertaste is dry, earthy. It might need a little refinement (particularly the nose).
