This big ole beer is rich, pleasantly sweet, and layered. Nutty coconut leads the way, followed by a luscious swirl of cacao nib and graham cracker that ties it all together like the perfect fireside treat.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date
L: near black body; foamy khaki head
S: very sweet smelling: cocoa, coconut, graham cracker, vanilla, marshmallow
T: rich and super sweet as expected, with notes of graham cracker, dark cocoa, coconut, marshmallow, vanilla, roasted barley, caramelized grain, earthy hops
F: sticky & syrupy body, modest carbonation, booze is well concealed, sweet finish with very subtle bitterness
O: I’ve had a lot of hoppy beers from NWBCo, but no stouts, so this was fun to try along with the barrel aged version I had this weekend at the brewery
