Brewed with Jasmine rice, this Cashmere Kimono is soft and clean, perfect for lounging around the house or by the pool. A light body with a peppery hop bite that invites you back for another sip.

Had Cashmere Kimono at the Saddle Mountain brewpub, Goodyear, Ariz., on draft into tumbler.
Pours light straw-gold with clarity and 1/2-finger creamy near-white head, which quickly dissipates to a persistent film, but initially leaves some beautiful etched lace. Aroma of sweet, mild malt off pour, giving way to mild hop spice. Begins smooth and a bit fruity, then immediately mild carbonation and some moderate but sharp citrus steps forward, before creamy smooth body takes over and carries into a mildly fruity, slightly crisp finish.
With admittedly limited experience of Japanese Rice Lagers (this makes two), this one nicely delivers the expected smooth rice body and crisp fruitiness.
