The beer departs from the 500ml brown bottle a luminous gold color with a portly creamy white head and as it slowly fades from view the lace forms a silk skirt to cover the glasses charms. Nose is the prototypical lager/pilsner clean and fresh, nice aroma of malt, start is sweet and nicely malted, top a bit thin but tolerable. Finish is mild to moderate in acidity, the hops benign in their spiciness, quite dry and a drinkable beer.

The on-tap version at the brewery's restaurant comes in a dimpled handled mug. It is a solid clear gold color under a fairly small white head that lingers well and leaves excellent lace. The nose is malty and mild. The mouth is evenly carbonated and medium-bodied. The taste is as it should be - malt followed by a decent hoppy bitterness. By no means a great beer, the draft version is quite drinkable. Just stay away from the bottle...
