A nice walnut color to this brew, rich and clear. It has a decent, but rather thin, head. It's gone in a flash.
Aromas are of roasted malts and a bit of cocoa, as are the flavors, with a bittering hop finish. It acheives a simple but succesful balance.
A tasty and quite drinkable beer ; a decent dark lager, but there are more interesting and satisfying examples.

The beer after its extrication form the 500ml brown bottle sets in the glass a deep blackberry color with the head pretentious in size and the consistency frothy the color a light chocolate as it dissipates quite quickly the residual lace is a thin sheet to obscure the glass. Malt dominates the nose, sweet, fresh, with a slight hint of toasted grains, start is sweet, the top skeletal. Finish has a delicate acidity, the hops pleasant and purposeful in their spiciness, quite dry and long lasting aftertaste
