I can’t tell you the difference between this and regular Denog, as far as any recipe changes. Not sure if barrel fermented means something similar to being barrel aged, or cask conditioned. Regardless it’s an enjoyable take on one of the staples. I liked it.
There’s a mellowed aroma with lots of orange peel and earthy pine. The taste is smoothly rounded, with a sharp bitterness and a pleasing malt.
