On tap at Drake's Barrel House
A: Pours dark brown basically black with a creamy khaki head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Molasses, vanilla, smooth bourbon, toasted coconut, a little butterscotch, roasty malt, coffee, and a touch of chocolate.
T: Molasses, butterscotch, vanilla, toasted coconut, smooth bourbon, a touch of oak, with a little earthy roasted malt and milk chocolate.
M: Medium to full body, mild carbonation, smooth with a touch of warmth.
O: Big time beer. barrel presence comes through nice and smooth, but dare I say it's a little too dominant for my taste. I would love to see a little more of the base beer show through.
