Combining our favorite drinks, this brew is aged in red wine barrels and infused with a unique Sumatran Coffee from Highwire Coffee Co. Cherry-like aromas and an earthiness from the coffee combines with the sour, funky beer to create what should be the best part of waking up.

This is a sour blonde that smells for all the world like a cup of freshly brewed coffee. I mean, the coffee aroma is huge, and that's cool. It's a big surprise when you lift the glass to smell it, as the look is of a straight blonde ale. There's nothing in the appearance to suggest a coffee hit. The taste, then, is disconcerting. The coffee is much less prominent, and you're drinking a sour blonde. But there is coffee still in the taste, and it's competing somehow for attention with the typical tartness of the sour. I didn't like the fight between the two flavors so much. It's still a pretty decent sour, and if you're in the mood for something completely different, give it a try.
