Had this at the Strange Brew 2017 festival. Pours mostly black, some dark brown in there, dark brown head 1/3". Aroma was the usual roasty stuff, but this had some mushrooms in here that didn't contribute to the smells.
Taste, pretty much like normal Robusto but with more earthen aspect to it, which I attribute to the mushrooms. The oak was nice, not huge, but just another layer of complexity that was nice in the mouthfeel. Basically its 90% the same as the base beer. You get a little bit of wood and earth in that beer = this beer. Not much else to speak of. A porter with some weirdness thrown in with it.
