On tap at the Bistro, a must-visit on any hopheads itinerary (thanks Vic and Cynthia!). Drakes has hoppy beers down to an art. This one has a light pale body and features wet Cascades and Centennial, and plenty of 'em so you can get your daily dose of vitamin C! Hops are very bitter, more bitter than a regular IPA, but they are well-rounded and the bitterness never dominates. Multi-dimentional hop flavors, especially featuring dried fruit and flowers. "Green" tasting. Skunky marijuana essence that would even appeal to the most hard-assed DEA agents. Just try to tell me you don't love this beer...I'll never believe you. I love wet-hop beers because they are so extremely hoppy, but never astringent and in fact very well rounded. Don't pass this one up; seek it out and thank me later.
Always remember: drink wet-hop beers in the fall when they're fresh, not after they've been sitting around for 9 months. Let's raise our glasses to the mighty hop. Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
