On tap at E.J. Phair Alehouse in Concord, CA. Served in a shaker pint, weak watery white layer of bubbles on the top, not exactly a head so much as a covering. Beer is light amber to brown in color. Smells of slightly citrusy hops and biscuity malt. Flavor is a bitter/spicy hop that sits nicely on the Rye-tinged malt base. Nice dry, bitter zip on the finish. Rye P.A.! Medium bodied. Drinks exceedingly well, reminds me of Founder's Red's Rye.

Pint at Beachwood BQQ for $5.50 on this past Sunday, reviewed from notes on my phone, Gabe said that this was brand new and all he really knew about it was that it was an APA
A-Golden yellow color with some orange tint, big one inch creamy white head, decent retention, some lacing
S-Rye, hoppiness, lemons, corn, grass, yeast, toasted bread, and grains
T-Starts off with a dry rye flavor, just like its name, taosted malts in the middle, more rye and some lighter hops in the finish, does not change much as it warms, stays relatively light and goes down without much effort
M-Slick, dry, and slightly chewy, thin to medium body, lots of carbonation, taste does not last long
D-Could drink a few pints of this, light on the stomach, rye would get a little old after a while though, still nicely balanced and sessionable
I could not find much about this beer anywhere online other than it is a one-off spring seasonal, not a bad beer but nothing special at the same time, would drink again, went well with our sweet potato fries, worth trying
