Surprisingly hazy orangey amber in the glass. Maybe there is some sediment stirred up from a previous pour. Hops are listed as Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Pacific Jade from NZ, and Helga from Aus. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at KNB liquors in San Diego.

Remarkable distinctive aroma. Fermenting pineapple and papaya. Big mango flavor. Orange with just a little peel. This is not overly sweet either. It's interesting how low the bitterness is, until finally after some sipping there is a long bitter tang. But with all the aromatics and fruitiness this would be a good lesson in hops for someone new to craft beer.

Honey orange with an off white head. Aromas of strawberry, white grape, melon, pine. Taste of fresh berries up front with lots of white grape notes and a medium bitterness. Love both of drakes aromas but this one is really unique from its use of Australian and New Zealand hops.

An ANZAC IPA? Please, over here! Thanks Tina for the bottle! On to the beer:

This beer is heady, airy on top, light orange colored with visible small carbonation bubbles running through and brightening the appearance. The head retention is excellent on top. The aroma, also pleasing. It offers soft hops, and to be specific, lime, grass, light honey, and spicy hops hit my mind. A fine aroma, but with a name like Aroma Prieta, you would expect an earthquake of hops. The taste turns up the dial one further by bringing a blend of hops and malt which isn't too sweet nor overly hoppy. A pleasing honey base lays the foundation for lime, cantaloupe, and spicy hops to hit. The beer has a smooth texture, not becoming bitter, and its flavor smoothens out as the beer warms.

I will helping myself to a second helping in the future. This IPA is impressive.

A:Golden straw yellow with minimal head

S: Subtle meyer lemon, kiwi, apple, floral. Nice but could/should be a lot more pronounced.

T: grassy, bitter lemon, white wine

F: Almost lagerish. Smooth.

A:Golden straw yellow.Thick foamy white head. some mild haze to it.

S: Def NZ hop profile. all aromas quite subtle.some bread, grassy resin, lemon peel, mango pith just barely.

T: Pine, lemon peel, orange zest. Fresh green grass. Nelson.little bit of tangerine pulp.

F: very smooth, very creamy, well balanced. low to mild carbonation.

O: While this is not the same hop explosion of bold flavors like its counterpart Coma, this delivers in a well made solid IPA way. Good balance, more bitter grassy forward but has a nice sweet maltiness right when it needs to.
