We got together with our friends at Almanac to brew up a delicious beer for SFBW. It's a Cold Double-IPA with big aromas of citrus and pine, then flavors of citrus and subtle malt-iness carry this beer through. It's crisp, it's bold, it's Fria! Pairs well with self-portraits, the end of Winter, and unibrows.
Hops: Mosaic, Talus, Azacca

Hey here's a review from earlier this year around SFBW time, this was the visit the night before the festival kicked off. I liked the Drake's room I was visiting for the first time, replete with all that "no ableism" language simultaneous with inclusiveness tropes. Welcome to the Signaling Bay Area!
Pours a clean golden color, familiar to most as "beer". Impressive pour, even if only 1/3" white head and not a bunch of retention. The aroma checks some familiar proprietary hop boxes. Mosaic seems to do the heavy lifting, a nice icy bunch of berries and that Himalayan weed strain that kicks down. Talus also contributes to that icy Simcoe meets Classic C hop vibe and the cold crash yeast only amplifies that aspect, all for the better. Azacca seems to help diversity that tropical berry aspect of Mosaic.
Taste bangs much the same way the nose does. Imagine doing a time share with a broke no credit score girl who work/lives in an Alaskan mancamp and then comes home to the Aravada area for recreational Tinder at her daughter's house bc she wrecked her credit on Alaskan Court view (look it up). Tight mouthfeel stays crisp, light, all for the better. Pretty good beer here. Drake's seems to never package anything new though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
