Imbibed on nitro tap at Drake's Barrel House on 2/4/2012.
Poured a pale gold with a good amoumt of white foam. Clarity is great. Mostly bitter nuttiness in the nose with some pale & Pilsner malt in the background. Feel is very smooth, no doubt due to the nitro tap. Light malt fades quickly to an almond nuttiness. Light body, but feels heavier than a Pils. I likened it to a double Pils at the time. Lingering mild nut, close to an almond nuttiness, with mild bitterness.
Talk about a mild! This had a thin flavor profile, but it was definitely unique. I enjoyed the moouthfeel and drinkability. While I liked this on nitro-tap, I don't think I would ever buy this in a bottle. The flavors are really brought out by the nitro and the carbonation and mouthfeel would not be as conducive to the style. I'd be interested to see a bottle review, but I suggest going to the Barrel House.

Nitro-tap at the brewery's Barrel House Tap Room.
A: crystal clear straw with a respectable head and lacing.
S: butterscotch or popcorn (even Pops cereal), in other words lots of diacetyl, but also a little bit of honey.
T: butterscotch again, lemon butter and fresh lobster, interesting.
M: silky smooth, delicate hopping cuts the butter some, dry finish.
O: pleasant drink, butter was a little overwhelming and off-putting.
