On-tap at the Barrel House. Bourbon version, first fill 2006.
A: blackish, nonexistent head, no visible carb, pretty flat.
S: definitely sour, real Brett-y, lots of oak, but little else.
T: bitter lemon, bourbon oak and vanilla, pretty intense nail polish remover, bitter chocolate.
M: light-bodied, too much so, carbonation is so-so, the warmth of the alcohol exceeds the ABV.
O: kind of like two perfectly good beers mashed together to the detriment of each other. Nail polish remover was really unpleasant. I did like the chocolatey aftertaste.
