Black on the inside, dark brown to the outside of the glass, amazing tan head over an inch. Aroma was understandably a little harsh, plenty of roast, really abrasive bitter coffee.
More substantial roasting, super powerful nail polish remover vibe. Better like your roast acrid and acidic. If you're down with that, you'll be down with this.

Well with a name like coffin varnish, i wanted to have a sampler before i went all in. Black pour, good 1" head. Aroma was harsh indeed, bitter alcohol.
Substantial roasting here, leans to the coffee and bitterness, so much easier to drink than the first whiff would tend to indicate. Just a powerful acetone type drink, bitter be thy name. This might be the base beer for wyld stallyns its so harsh at times, but w a lil luv, transformation. Not an entry level beer.
In summation, good enough that i ordered a pint.
