On tap at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, roasted nuts, and slight cocoa aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa and nutty flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a great smell and some tasty flavors.

On-tap at Drake's Barrel House
The beer pours a light brown/dark amber color with a creamy khaki head. A very intense nutty aroma, some light chocolate, and maybe some light roast. A touch metallic, but otherwise just lots of toast, roast, and nut flavor. Creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
