Well that is just some of the coolest pop culture segues for label art. Yes, I love that movie.
Pours a darker, decocted yellow golden into a 1918 Marquette jersey pint glass. 1/2" white head. Slight bump here for that coolness factor. Aroma was mostly that golden waves of grain thing. Say its decocted or whatever. Hey wait, this is the first review of this beer ever for this Next Glass owned website? Oh shit, I added it last week. Well how about that. Anyhoo, yeah, aroma, its like mostly grain, and just a hint of hops and lager yeast.
Taste is just as much feeling like a bready helles as it does a pilsner. Its enjoyable, its a neat little dichotomy between being only 4% but then also seemingly jam packed with pilsner malt so much so that it comes out breadier than most in style. This definitely seems to be corroborating evidence of the double decoction, it has that imperial feel malt wise in a session body. I respect the extra steps to make a beer that probably isn't a big needle mover in sales, but its damn good in my book.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
