On tap at Drake's Barrel House in San Leandro.
Description on tap list indicates that it is a "blend of Belgian Single & American Strong Ale" and that it is "aged in Brandy" barrels.
A: Golden color. Clear. Tiny head.
S: Plenty of oak flavors that are given center stage since malt flavors are understated. Honey. Vanilla. Tropical fruit. Cognac. Freshly cut grass. God I love the aromatics of a fine barrel-aged beer. Some alcohols.
T: Pleasant tartness. Dill. Pineapple. Dry finish.
M: Light-medium body help up by acidity and alcohol.
O: Great balance and very drinkable. Drakes makes some great barrel-aged beers.
