A - Served a dark black color with a finger of frothy khaki colored head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some great lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of lots of port with some roasted chocolate malts, some oak, and a bit of booze.
T - Starts off with a mix of roasted chocolate malts with some oak and some strong port flavor. Through the middle, a bit more roasted flavor comes through with some more oak flavor and a bit of booze and sourness. The finish is a mix of roasted chocolate malts with some port and some booze.
M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a warming and sweet finish.
D - Very drinkable. I like how strong the port character is and it balances with the stout base nicely.
