Montgomery Brewing Company

Historic building location that was originally a brewery (with the same name). Taproom is small and uses only a portion of the building. Some of the brewing equipment is visible behind glass. Short bar with surrounding tables and chairs. Exposed sheet steel ceiling and concrete floors. Twelve taps, with a selection of standard styles. Coolers offer beers to go. Well versed staff. Small town brewery that has a wide distribution in Minnesota.

This brewery is in the old Montgomery Brewing company. It is a nice older building. The staff is very friendly, and really work to provide a great experience. This brewery was the first one that was allowed to be open on Sunday after the Sunday brewery law passed. They do have good food trucks there. Probably the only downside is they don't have a lot of seating. I have seen it quite packed. If you're in the area, I do recommend the stop.

Bit of a crude taproom compared to the slick, modern taprooms of the metro. Small space that I would imagine would be very cozy with more than 30 people inside. A minuscule bar with only 3 seats so it is more of a place to order a beer and go sit at one of the tables. One unisex restroom. The interior reminds me a bit of a dairy with the white color and stainless. Over a dozen different beers to chose from. All American styles. I would rate the various beers from alright to, I could drink a lot of this. Growlers, crowlers, and 750ml bottles of barrel-aged beer available to purchase to go.
